Born in the dusty south plains town of Lubbock, Texas, birthplace of great musicians like Buddy Holly, Mac Davis, Joe Ely, and Nataly Maines, I grew up exposed to many wonderful and talented people, and a whole lot of churches and restaurants.  A graduate of Texas Tech University and certified teacher, artist and writer, I have long been interested in the magical aspects of folk craft traditions. I also am an avid lover of science fiction and fantasy, having cut my teeth on my first sci-fi novels at the age of nine.

I’ve written many articles on the spiritual and magical uses of crystals and stones and my first book, Crafting a Magical Life: Manifesting Your Heart’s Desire Through Creative Projects, was published by Inner Traditions/Findhorn Press in 2009. In addition to my own projects, I have helped many authors prep their books for publication and have assisted in writing specialty articles, blog posts and marketing pieces.

I really love writing and editing and have enjoyed it since I was a teenager.

Currently, I live in San Diego, California with Bunnyhunny the hubby, where I enjoy doing freelancing writing, editing, and social media work. For fun, I edit English subtitle translations of Kdramas at Viki.com, I ride my pink Vespa a lot, and I love to attend Kpop concerts. When I’m not doing all that, I am usually trying out a new craft or creating a cosplay outfit for the next Comic-Con. There’s always something interesting to do with each and every day. I never get bored.
